Review ~ The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza

I'd give this 3.5 stars. It's his first book so there's that.

The plot ran smoothly with realistic dynamics between characters. The way the characters expressed emotions tho, you know they were written by a man. It wasn't bad, just obviously masculine way of expressing.

The complexity required for a thriller/mystery was pretty good, it kept me guessing and engaged. Erika Foster is a solid female character. Props to that.

While the plot ran smoothly, it was painfully obvious too, that he's hoping a studio would pickup this book and turn it into a movie. Some of the twists and turn were very much movie magic and written cinematically, almost like a script.

It WOULD be interesting to turn this into a movie tho.

Good effort and great read, overall but he definitely needs more experience. Looking forward to his future works.
