Anime Review ~ GetBackers(2002)

As the name implies literally. Dynamic Duo Ban Midou and Amano Ginji are a Recovery Service men where they get back things that have been taken away ensuring 100% success rate.

Most of my reviews are first introduced with pictures than written paragraphs of explanation of characters, storyline etc. Here, I'd like to try something new.

JENG JENG JENG!
Not much is revealed about this enigmatic young man except that he isn't exactly human. From a few flashback episodes he seems to be called Last Children along with his ex-partner in crime, Himiko. He has German ancestry and is skillful with the violin. He comes from a very old and wealthy family. He has a strong affection for Ginji Amano. (NOT HO-YAY! More like a brotherly love). His superman fist renders him as a very strong opponent to however opposes him thus creating a lot of admirers along the way.

He is loved by all. Almost everyone who meets him creates a special kind of affection for him. Very lovable young man. A former leader from a notorious slums called Limitless Fortress - Lighting Emperor, was what he was called. He and Ban Midou can sense each other - especially when one or the other is in grave danger. Ginji left the slums because his power was going haywire. He left so he won't accidentally kill anyone again.
He has his own legion of faithful supporters who are still loyal to him even after he left the slums.

Spoiler:

Isn't this person cute?  He's male. Don't get me wrong, he's one of the most important characters in the show but watch the anime to see how he ended as a nurse.

Some interesting gallery.

I'd give this 3.5 stars. It's his first book so there's that.  The plot ran smoothly with realistic dynamics between character...
