Anime!

As a diehard fan of anime, I have watched tons of anime ever since I became addicted to it 8 years ago. Now, my life revolves around anime. It has come to a point that I cannot live without anime! My favourite genres are of course, romance, comedy and yaoi. I am proud to introduce you the animes that changed my life for the better.

1) Yami No Matsuei
- This was the first yaoi-esque anime that I have ever been exposed to. Incidently, it was also my very first anime. I totally fell in love with the storyline and the characters. It is about Tsuzuki who has been a dead for 72 years and still holds the degrading post of a shinigami. He is notorious for not maitaining his partners for more than a week. That changed until his new partner, Hisoka who died recently touched his life in very complicated ways. Tsuzuki is permanently 26 years old and Hisoka will be permanently 16 years old. They all remain the age they have died. Tsuzuki being the oldest and most elite shinigamis was out to investigate a series of bizzare ongoings. Little did he know that(this is my best part) there is one man carrying out all this bizzare ongoings to reach out to Tsuzuki. The villian is a gay doctor Muraki Kazutaka who came from a respectable line of family of doctors. He is completely heartless, ruthless and conniving. He even used a dead celebrity as a vampire-zombie to kill victims that intended to lure Tsuzuki.
Did I mention that he was also responsible for Hisoka's death? Yes, this sick maniac of a creeper raped Hisoka to death after Hisoka witnessed him slaughtering(yes, he did) a woman.
Muraki also kind of 'seduced' Tsuzuki and guess what? Tsuzuki actually sort of 'liked' Muraki before he found out about Muraki being responsible for all the strange ongoings in the human world.

2) Blondie
- No, this is not the American comic strip I'm talking about, this is a yaoi anime as well. You see, in this world, social status are determined by the color of your hair. Light colored hair(blonde and silver) is high statues and obviously, black hair is considered as 'pariah'. One day, Jack(a black haired citizen) was loitering around the backlanes of the main city when he accidently ran into a high-class citizen(a blonde). In exchange of 'dirtying' the blondes clothes, the blonde demanded that Jack be his sex-slave until he is bored with him. Since going against a blondie's wish is considered treachery, Jack has no choice but agree. What started as a 'business deal' slowly turned into love. Now, this blondie and his pariah boyfriend must keep their forbidden love secret.
And the rest is obviously predictable. I must give credit to the smoking hot rape/sex scenes. YUM!

3) My Sexual Harassment
- This is one anime that makes you want more and more. It's a shame it's only two episodes. It's about this employee named Asuka who just got a job in a big shot company with a dream salary. All was going well when his boss-Mr.Honma- started 'educating' him about the real way he got up the stairs at such a young age (He was already a CEO at 36). At first Asuka was pissed that his virgin ass got explored but soon he came to enjoy it. Incidently, he started to fall in love with Mr.Honma and so did Mr.Honma to Asuka. Asuka's boss already got a family so he can only keep their love affair a secret. Throughout the movie, Asuka got to sleep with many big shot people who agreed to do business deal with Honma's company only if Asuka is willing to spread his legs. And poor Asuka has got no choice but to do what he has to do.
Mr.Honma 'rewards' Asuka by 'servicing' Asuka in the meeting room when everyone has left.
Did I mention Mr.Honma is into BDSM? He ties up poor Asuka and have his way with him again and again...on a bed on a rooftop.
How did THAT get there?

4) Sensitive Pornograph
- PHEW! Now THIS is one helluva yaoi anime/manga! The sex scenes are graphic(you can see everything!) with good storyline. My only regret is...there's only two stories made into an anime out of the 6 stories in the manga. If you can't accept detailed and pure yaoi anime sex, then don't watch this. The voice actors sound as if they really are having sex! LOL! XD All in all, the first story is about an amateur yaoi hardcore mangaka in love with a hardcore yuri mangaka(yeah the uke is male but a yuri artist/draws lesbos). The second story is about a pet sitter and a sex slave. This pet sitter went to a house thinking he will be petsitting a rabbit. When he reached the address, imagine his surprise when he saw a naked male(albeit a beautiful one) tied up in a closet: bound and gagged. When released, the naked man told that there is no rabbit and his 'owner' likes to play 'games' like this. Therefore, the pet sitter has no choice but to fuck the 'rabbit'. Somehow, when they were fucking(like hardcore fucking)-they fell in love.

These series are not yaoi.

5) La Corda D'Oro
- I fell in love with this music themed anime! It's about a girl named Kaho who found a fairy who later grants a magic violin that can be played by anyone. She later befriends fellow musicians:
Len Tsukimori: a prodigy violinist who has a gothic and emo'ish aura about him. Has a disdain over Kaho for she enjoys playing the violin and he plays it because his parents are famous musicians. In the anime, he was supposed to be Kaho's soulmate.
Ryotaro Tsuchiura: a pianist who has a deep respect for Kaho.
Hihara Kazuki: a trumpeteer whose bubbly personality cheers up everyone. Has a MAJOR crush on Kaho.
Shimizu Keiichi: an angelic looking boy who plays the cello, he's asleep most of the episodes but he actually a thinker. He's like a little brother for Kaho.
There's this another girl who plays the Clarinet...I keep forgetting her name.
Anyway, the real reason why I love this anime is because it induced my love for the violin and cello.
Thanks to this anime, I am taking violin classes. ^^

6) The Wallflower
- I fucking love this anime!!! This is the funniest most lovable anime ever created. It's about this 4 gorgeous boys who's living in mansion who always fails to pay rent at proper due time. Therefore, the house owner a beautiful widow came up with a plan. If these boys can help her wayward niece to become a true lady, they live in the mansion for free for as long as they want to live here. The boys thought this will be a piece of cake as they all claim themselves to be ladykillers and therefore no girls or any other females can resist their charms. Imagine their surprise when Sunako( a creepy, gothic girl who's behaves as if she is possesed by Lucifer himself) gave these boys a hard time. Time is running out and Sunako is nowhere near behaving like a lady.

7)Ultraviolet 007
- This is the anime version of Milla Jovovich's UltraViolet movie. I am sad that this is an underated anime. I must say, it was pretty good. Even better than the movie. No special effect mumbo-jumbo like in the movies and Violet here is more...human so to say. The storyline is pretty same but it took 13 episodes. She will fall in love with this blonde soldier...I forgot his name (=.=)' Sorry, I watched it a long time ago and I totally forgot the anime. But I remember bits and parts of the anime.

8) Miracle Train
- This is also one underrated animes that deserved more recognition. The story happend in Oedo line of Japan(a train station in Japan just like how we have Monorail, KTM and LRT in Malaysia, this is one of their train stations).
The story revolves a line of train called the Miracle Train where they only appear to ladies that need help. They can only take one troubled ladies at a time. Inside the train, there are at least 6 good-looking male who are stations in their human forms. I can remember Shinjuku, Todai...my I need to surf the net for their names. Each station will have one troubled ladies that needs their assistance and of course they will help the troubled ladies solve it much to their satisfaction. In each episodes, every train stations' history is revealed thus in a way the anime is educational. It's a really good anime with some juicy bishounen for female anime enthuthiasts to see. ^v~

9) Devil May Cry
- Need I say more? This is the anime adaptation of the megapopular game with the same title. I was expecting a total failure where the muddle up Dante's character and make him into a gay teddy bear. But no, I was absolutely WRONG. Dante was what he was in the games, a bad boy with a good heart. \(^o^)/. I totally fell in love with Dante after watching the anime. There has never been a more perfect hero or man for that fact. I am comletely besotted. The anime is about 13 episodes and in each episodes Dante is hired to solve troubles of his clients. That of course, includes uber-kewl fighting scenes that's both stylish and downright awesum!
*insert fangirl squeel here*
Anyone who haven't watched this anime should not waste any more time and WATCH THIS ANIME! Only then you will understand by what I mean by completely besotted.
*sighs like a lovesick puppy*
*makes a spazzy dance and squeels*

10) Marginal Prince
- This is one anime I am quite dissapointed with. It had a good concept but that concept is carried out poorly. This is a musical anime. It's about an all-boy's school located in a private island. Boy's who go there graduate to be Marginal Princes who can be diplomats or ambassadors. There is one person there who is a real prince though but he is not sure if wants to take the throne. Throughout the anime he has conflicted feelings about what is right and what he want. In the end, he agreed to take up the throne to be the crown prince. In every episode one of the characters will be highlighted to be focus of the day and he will sing a song. The whole fucking 12 episodes is about that. There is no improvement in the characters. The only enlightement is the creepy doctor who works in the school's clinic. he has a thing for 'examining' his patients with his surgical knives and groping their bare chests before he goes into action. Of course, he never actually 'slice' anyone, people would run the minute they hear his maniacal laugh. Anyway, if you happen to have spare time and haven't a clue as to what to do with it. This will be a good anime to watch. It provides light entertainment and a good time-killer.

11) Neo Angelique Series
- The highly - anticipated Angelique series. I don't know any shoujo enthuthiast that fail to miss this anime. Good plot, storyline and characters, this is a fresh change in the usual Angelique series. It's about this girl Angelique who chosen by God to wipe out the new alien creatures called Thanatos that goes on a killing spree in random towns. Really, this creatures just appear out of nowhere and eat people. I hate to admit it, the Thanatos' are actually quite beautiful creatures albeit have problems with their diets. ^^;
Anyway, I only have respect for the male characters as they seem to be the only characters in the manga to be anywhere near realistic. Angelique is...bland. Really she is although she is the heroin but I don't really like her. Too goody-too-shoes, pure and innocent. And she is supposed to be the very embodiment of a perfect girl.
I say...she's a fucking wimp. A pussy(?). Everytime she gets her ass in trouble, the guys have to save her ass from being mauled by something or other. Pfft. Get a backbone for a change!
There are four guys : Rayne, Nyx, J.D and Hyuuga. Out of these four, Rayne is the most popular among fangirls. I personally prefer Nyx as he is the oldest. the smartest and most sensible of them all. I like older men with an air of melancholy about them. ^^;/
Anyway, if you can watch this anime without barfing at Angelique's goodiness, then why wait?! Get your ass up!

12) GTO
- Who don't know this unusual teacher? Crass mannered, foul-mouthed, a full-fledged pervert at that too, instead of teaching, he goes about beating up his students and in the process, solve their problem. Even with all his faults, he truly is a remarkable teacher. One can easily overlook his bad mannerisms once you have seen his how GOOD a person he truly is. He would to a length no normal human would go to help his students or anyone for that matter. A little ecchii here and there(oh, c'mon like you people neve watched porn before), it makes the anime funny instead of vulgar. Like a female student taking of her panties and riding the bike with Onizuka. Imagine the very windy Japanese student skirt get blown during the motorcycle ride and he sees you-know-what.
Pretty much ecchii stuff like that. But a GTO fan myself...I can only say: don't you dare call yourselves an otaku if you haven't watched GTO.
So there.

Review ~ The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza

I'd give this 3.5 stars. It's his first book so there's that.  The plot ran smoothly with realistic dynamics between character...
