My Little Pony ~ Friendship is Magic

Okay, I have been a MLP(My Little Pony) fans since FOREVER. Yes, I am a Brony!!! Not ashamed...BLOODY PROUD THAT'S WHAT I AM. So the latest installment is the 4th generation of My Little Pony where the ponies are somewhat slimmer, chibi-fied and more colorful and with a much more distinguishable personality.

The basic story is this:

Twilight Sparkle(our heroin) is a gifted student whose mentor is none other than Princess Celestia, the ruler of Equestria. Equestria is where ponies live by the way. Twilight Sparkle is studious to a fault. She is so extreme in her studies that she deemed frienship and any form of socializing unimportant. But one fateful day when she read a prophecy that an evil banished queen is set to comeback for her revenge. Princess Celestia is kidnapped and Twilight Sparkle is the only one who knows how to find the Princess. Together with her friends Spike(a baby dragon), Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, RainbowDash and AppleJack embark on a journey to find clues about the princess' whereabouts. When Twilight Sparkle finally defeat the Evil Queen Luna who kidnapped the Princess, she realized that if it wasn't for the help of her friends she wouldn't have found the Princess and restore Equestria to peace once more. The Princess then on gave a mission to Twilight Sparkle that she is to have a break from studies and have lessons about friendship with her new-found friends instead. =D So the whole 26 episode of the first season is about Twilight Sparkle and her friends learning important lessons on friendsip. =)


Character introduction time!!!

*note that I have used the PonyMaker and PegasusMaker from DollDivine.com to depict a more realistic version of the ponies so you guys would get an idea of they would look like in real-life. Somehow. Anyhow I had much fun in making the ponies so enjoy! First chibi-type version are the ones that appear in the animated series. The second pictures are the PonyMaker/PegasusMaker counterpart. They might not match accurately especially their cutie marks so bear with me.*

~:::TWILIGHT SPARKLE:::~

A gifted student of Equestia that Princess Celestia personally mentors, she lives in a tree that's actually a mini library. She drowns herself in books with her assistant Spike with the occasional break to have adventures with her friends. Twilight Sparkle is a unicorn pony.

If you would see that I added a trail of leaves on her flight I am tying to tell you guys that she's flying above the forest much like her picture above.

~:::FLUTTERSHY:::~

A mild-mannered, shy, demure, kind, gentle, elegant and compassionate pegasus pony who have a passion for animals. She seems to be the oldest of all the ponies as she sometimes nurses sick animals and rears farm animals. =) She's my favourite of all the ponies.

~:::APPLEJACK:::~

A Southern Belle who works in her family's apple orchard. She's a good athlete, very hard-working and most calm and collected of all the ponies. Extremely supportive of her friends yet have a deep sense of pride. She's an earth pony.

~:::PINKIE PIE:::~

A bubbly earth pony who always has a smile pasted on her face, she runs a bakery where is hosts parties and makes delicious confectioneries. She often breaks out into meaningless songs, much to the embarrassment of her friends. She's more than meets the eye and can be a tad annoying with all her hyper-activeness. She doesn't trot like a pony, she hops instead. (so cute in my opinion).

~:::RARITY:::~

A beautiful and stylish unicorn pony with sophisticated mannerisms. Kind of vain, she can come off as a real drama queen but she's one tough cookie who CAN protect herself in times of danger. Loves being the center of attention and primping herself. She runs a boutique where she makes really stylish clothes.

~:::RAINBOWDASH:::~

A pegasus pony who's loud and boisterous can come off as a show-off at times but she's very loyal to her friend and often puts herself at risk if any of her friends are in danger. She created the SonicRainboom TWICE(a rainbow formation caused by lighting-fast flight from the higher to lower atmosphere).

And everyone's favourite 'matron' Princess Trollestia, I mean Molestia! God Donut, CELESTIA.

~:::PRINCESS CELESTIA:::~

A graceful unicorn-pegasus pony that rules over Equestria with charm and grace of a poised beauty. She is patient and kind and very regal. She comes as a motherly figure to Twilight Sparkle and her friends.


If I were a Pony, I would LOVE to be called MoonDance. My cutie mark would be the Moon and my special talent would be predicting the future. =D
