Dad Shot his Daughter's Laptop - VIRAL VIDEO

This is a video of a man who probably got a little too angry with his daughter ranting about chores in Facebook.
Although he handled disciplining his daughter efficiently, posting the video of it in Youtube wasn't a good move.

The video has now a little more than 31 million views but most of the comments were more appraisal than argumentative feedback.

I'll make my point simple and short:
I totally agree with him getting back at his daughters accusations but family matters should be kept private between families, not shared with the public. While the father has some serious balls, he also displays some egoistical issues.

As Dr.Phil said, humiliating a child is never a good move. Now the whole world knows his daughter as the kid who ranted about her parents in Facebook. Like many other millions of rebellious teenagers. Only that that earned a few bullets embedded in her laptop. It isn't that big of a deal. Nothing a little confrontation and discipline can solve.

Approach her quietly over dinner, explaining why the chores around the house is essential to disciplining her and instilling responsibilities in her would have been more beneficial rather than shooting her laptop and letting every Jack and Jane know of it is simply a tactless move on the father's part. Taking away her laptop for 3 months etc would be a much better move as well.

I do admit though that kids these generation are getting more narcissistic and pampered but this borders a little on mental abuse.

But I stand firm in saying the father didn't discipline his daughter in a more beneficial way.
